Dolce Vita

From Bellinzona Station you reach the Ticino River and follow it as far as the Gudo Bridge. From there, the route enters the bio-diverse richness of the Piano di Magadino before arriving on the cycle path along Lake Locarno.

Once in Locarno, continue in the direction of Ascona and then head towards the Centovalli, crossing the Maggia.

Once Cavigliano is reached, the return journey begins, climbing up to Arcegno along the street called "Strada dei Cavalli". The return journey is then planned across the lakefront of Ascona and then above Locarno, with its breathtaking views.

In Tenero you continue on the cycle path, crossing the Cantonal road for about 1 km as far as Quartino and then continue towards Bellinzona, towards the left bank of the river.
